Koh Tao has no airport, so visitors arrive by boat at Mae Haad pier. Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 2.2 km from the villa, and pick-up truck taxis connect the pier with Sairee, charging by the truck rather than per passenger. Free private parking is available on site without a reservation. Mae Haad is the island’s pier town, and a flat brick path along the shore links it with Sairee in about 15 minutes on foot.

For viewpoints, Top of the rock is 800 m away and Coconut Viewpoint is 1.1 km away; Ao Hin Wong is 1.3 km away on the east coast. The island’s dive schools organise trips to more than 25 sites, including Chumphon Pinnacle and Japanese Gardens. Koh Nang Yuan’s joined islets are reached by long-tail boat from Sairee or Mae Haad, with visitors required to leave by about 17:00. The west and south coasts are usually calmer from November to March; from April to October, the east-coast bays tend to have calmer conditions.
